Firefox 104 est disponible en téléchargement, quoi de neuf ?
Mozilla déploie une nouvelle mise à jour pour Firefox. Le navigateur évolue en version 104 et se décline en plusieurs éditions (macOS, Windows, Linux)
Firefox 104 s’accompagne de nombreuses améliorations dont la prise en charge des sous-titres si Disney + est regardé en mode Picture-in-Picture. Nous avons aussi des informations sur la consommation d’énergie pour chaque site Web visité à partir d’un appareil exploitant un processeur Apple M1 et des ordinateurs Windows 11.
Mozilla ajoute des améliorations du coté défilement tandis que le navigateur réduit son empreinte sur les performances du système lorsqu’il est minimisé. Ainsi il est souligné
« Firefox prend désormais en charge à la fois la propriété scroll-snap-stop ainsi que le ré-snapping. Vous pouvez utiliser les valeurs always et normal de la propriété scroll-snap-stop pour spécifier s’il faut ou non passer les points d’alignement, même en cas de défilement rapide. Le réenclenchement tente de conserver la dernière position d’accrochage après tout changement de contenu/de mise en page. L’interface utilisateur de Firefox elle-même sera désormais limitée pour les performances et l’utilisation de la batterie lorsqu’elle sera minimisée ou obstruée, de la même manière que les onglets d’arrière-plan. »

- Un souci de surbrillance après avoir tapé Entrée dans la messagerie de Yahoo Mail et Outlook et Un bug de retour arrière avec le protocole http.

#CVE-2022-38472: Address bar spoofing via XSLT error handling

Description
An attacker could have abused XSLT error handling to associate attacker-controlled content with another origin which was displayed in the address bar. This could have been used to fool the user into submitting data intended for the spoofed origin.

Description

Description
A website that had permission to access the microphone could record audio without the audio notification being shown. This bug does not allow the attacker to bypass the permission prompt – it only affects the notification shown once permission has been granted.
This bug only affects Firefox for Android. Other operating systems are unaffected.

Description
Mozilla developer Nika Layzell and the Mozilla Fuzzing Team reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 103 and Firefox ESR 102.1. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code.
