Tecno Pova 5G’s India launch set for February 8
Tecno launched the Pova Neo in India last month, and it will expand the Pova series in the Asian country on February 8 with the Pova 5G.
The Tecno Pova 5G was unveiled in December, so we know its specs. The smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 900 SoC and runs Android 11-based HiOS 8.0 out of the box. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage onboard, but it’s unclear if Tecno will offer more memory options in India or stick to the 8GB/128GB configuration.

The Pova 5G is built around a 6.9″ 120Hz FullHD+ LCD with a punch hole in the center for the 16MP selfie camera. And around the back, we get a rectangular island housing a 50MP primary camera joined by 2MP and QVGA units.
The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and ships with a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W charging. We’ll find out more about its pricing and availability in India next Tuesday.
