You can enable this setting easily on either your iPhone or iPad Pro. And, the steps are the same for both types of devices.
- Open the Settings app on your device and choose Accessibility.
- Go to the Hearing section and select Audio/Visual.
- Under Visual at the bottom, enable the toggle for LED Flash for Alerts.
- Optionally, you can use the Flash on Silent feature that then displays. This is the setting you should enable if you want your device light to blink when your physical ring switch is set to silent. If you prefer to only use the LED flash if your device is simply locked, you can turn the toggle for this setting off.
Once you finish, you can close the Settings.
Note: The LED Flash alert feature is available on iPad Pro models introduced in 2016 or later.
