Dell unleashes new USB-C and 4K UHD gaming monitors

Dell’s latest two monitors are here for you to peruse and, if you have the cash and the inclination, buy. If you’re in a region that’s not North America or EMEA, you already have access to both of these displays, so no need to wait on release dates. For North American and EMEA friends, you’ll have to hold in place until March 30 for the new 4K screen.

The screens are straightforward. With the 32-inch 4K UHD gaming monitor (G3223Q), you’re getting Fast IPS and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, a 144Hz variable refresh rate on PC and 120Hz rate for consoles when utilizing HDMI 2.1. The monitor also comes packed with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort, two USB 3.2 downstream ports, one SS USB upstream port, and a headphone-out port. This display will cost you $1,099.

By comparison, the 32-inch USB-C gaming monitor (G3223D) cranks the visual specs down a notch. You’ll get a QHD display with VESA Display HDR 400 certification. Expect a 165Hz variable refresh rate for PC and a cap of 120Hz on consoles, 1ms response times, and support for both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro as well as NVIDIA G-Sync. Ports include: Two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort, one USB Type-C upstream, one USB 3.2 downstream, one SS USB 3.2 port, and an audio port (3.5mm jack).
