April 2020 security patches hit the Xperia 1/5 and XZ2/XZ3 families

Sony is rolling new firmware updates which add the 1 April 2020 Google Android security patches to a variety of devices. The Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 flagships get new build number 55.1.A.3.149, while the Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Compact, XZ2 Premium and XZ3 get build number 52.1.A.0.672.

Frustratingly, Sony continue to omit any kind of changelogs with their firmware updates, but it seems like little has changed. The slow fingerprint sensor in the XZ2/XZ3 devices still seem to persist, and there have been no changes to the home launcher or key apps. If you have downloaded the update, please let us know your impressions in the comments below.
