Xbox’s ‘Grounded’ coming to early access, full release set for 2021

Grounded is an upcoming multiplayer survival game from Obsidian Entertainment. The title focuses on children who have shrunk down to the size of ants and must fight for themselves against the perils of the microscopic world.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? We want to make the best experience possible and putting an exact timeline on an early-in-development game is very challenging. That said, we also want to be transparent with our community, so we will give you our best guess with the understanding that these plans may change. The current target for Grounded’s full release is sometime in 2021.

It seems like it should hit Steam Early Access and possibly Xbox Game Preview sometime in 2020. A multiplayer game definitely needs feedback from the community, and that’s exactly what Obsidian is doing.
