Windows 10 19H2 build 18363.418 rolls out to Release Preview Insiders
Microsoft today pushed a fresh Windows 10 19H2 update for Windows Insiders on the Release Preview ring. This update moves the build number up to 18363.418, which also happens to be the final build number Microsoft is expecting the Windows 10 November 2019 Update to take one.
There’s no list of fixes or improvements for this build. However, Microsoft does caution that only Insiders who are on build 18362.10024 in the Release Preview ring will see this update. If you’re still enrolledi n the Slow ring, you won’t receive today’s release, Microsoft says.
Today, we have released 19H2 Build 18363.418 to Windows Insiders who are on Build 18362.10024 and in the Release Preview ring. If you are on Build 18362.10024 and still in the Slow ring, you will not receive this update. You will need to switch to the Release Preview ring as recommended in the below blog post to pick up the final 19H2 build today. If you remain in the Slow ring, you will be updated to 20H1 very shortly. Now’s the time to double-check your Windows Insider Program settings!
Earlier in October, Microsoft said that it expects build 18363.418 to be the November 2019 Update’s final build number for release. Now that it’s in testing on the Release Preview ring, it’s likely that we’re very close to a full release. There’s still no official word on a release date, but it should arrive in the coming weeks.
The November 2019 Update is much smaller in scope than previous feature updates. The next major update will be 20H1, which is currently in testing with the Fast ring and is expected to launch in the first half of 2020.
