Samsung TV Plus gets optimized for Galaxy Z Fold and tablets
The Samsung TV Plus mobile app is getting a significant new update that improves the user experience for Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Tab users. It also redesigns some UI elements and helps users find content easier.
Samsung TV Plus version 1.0.10.9 optimizes the viewing experience for Galaxy Z Fold phones and Galaxy tablets. In addition, the update redesigns the “Discover” page to help users find the best movies and live TV.
Likewise, the latest Samsung TV Plus update brings additional recommendations for users to watch more of what they want. And last but not least, although Samsung doesn’t go into more detail, the company says the update brings bug fixes and improves performance and usability.
Samsung TV Plus and larger screens go together better
Keep in mind that Samsung TV Plus already was available for Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Tab devices in select markets. This update doesn’t bring the ad-based TV platform to foldable phones and tablets for the first time but optimizes the app to improve the viewing experience on these devices. Exactly what this means, Samsung doesn’t specify, but we’re guessing Samsung made the TV Plus app’s UI friendlier for larger screens.
Samsung released the TV Plus mobile app in 2020, exclusively in the USA. In 2021, the company introduced the ad-based service to European markets, including Germany the UK, and a few others.
