Samsung to talk Watch Design Studio and Good Lock at MWC 2021
This year’s belated MWC 2021 is almost here and we already some of the things Samsung will talk about during its event. The company just filed two new trademarks with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). They are for Samsung Watch Design Studio and Samsung Good Lock.
The first one is likely a final and official name of the already released Galaxy Watch Designer service that allows you to create your own watchfaces for Samsung’s smartwatches. The app can be found on the Galaxy Store but it’s still in beta version. So perhaps, during this year’s MWC, Samsung will introduce more features to the service and will end the beta stage.
Additionally, the company has trademarked Samsung Good Lock but the listing doesn’t say much except that it’s downloadable software for smartphones and tablets for customizing UI elements of the software and that perfectly fits the already introduced Good Lock software. Perhaps there’s nothing new to the software itself except that it has just been trademarked, but it could also finally be expanding its availability beyond the handful of markets that now have it.
