SamMobile Podcast Episode 19: Unpacked 2022 recap and One UI 5 beta
Today’s the first Friday after Galaxy Unpacked 2022, so you probably guessed by now what this week’s SamMobile Podcast is all about. We’re recapping the main events and devices unveiled at Unpacked, and we chat a little bit more about the ongoing One UI 5.0 beta program.
This was one of Samsung’s busiest weeks of the year. The last major Unpacked event of 2022 brought us two new foldable phones, two smartwatches, and a new pair of wireless earbuds with significant upgrades in the audio department. Our YouTube host, Benjamin, will also talk you through more One UI 5.0 beta news and features. Samsung started rolling out the first One UI 5.0 beta this week, and it might not take much longer before the firmware leaves the beta stages and lands on the Galaxy S22 series worldwide.
At Unpacked 2022, Samsung took the veil off a new Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds with 24-bit audio and advanced ANC, and the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, the latter of which is Samsung’s first smartwatch to bear the “Pro” label.
