No RTX 3080 in stock? This Black Friday sale might be what you need.

It’s been a year of scarcity for PC enthusiasts, with new graphics cards (GPU) and new processors (CPU) launching with limited stock. If you didn’t manage to get your hands on NVIDIA’s new RTX 30-series GPUs on launch day or soon thereafter, chances are you’re still running an old GPU. If you do want to claim an RTX 3080 (or 3070 or 3090) as your own this Black Friday, you might want to check out Dell’s sale on its Alienware Aurora R11. It’s not a huge sale, but it’s something for those of us who haven’t yet moved to the next generation.

It might be hard for private buyers to get their hands on NVIDIA’s RTX 30-series cards, but PC manufacturers have a much better chance of seeing supply. Dell’s Alienware brand of gaming PCs has been on top of or near the top of our best gaming desktop PC collection for years, and the latest refresh just so happens to have configurations with the mighty flagship NVIDIA RTX 3080, as well as the RTX 3070 and the RTX 3090.

These PCs are high-end options, with smart design that allows them to be upgraded in the future. They’re packed with ports, they’re intended to be overclocked, and they have some fancy RGB lighting for extra style points. You can customize these systems to your heart’s content, but it looks as though models with an RTX 3080 start at the $2,392 mark after discount. That’s about $49 off the regular price for a system that’s going to absolutely crush all modern games at QHD and even 4K resolutions.

If you’d rather stick with the RTX 3070 for 1440p supremacy, you’re looking at a configuration that’s discounted by about $45 for a total price of about $2,196. If you want to go all-out with the RTX 3090, models are discounted by about $74 for a total price of about $3,587. That includes a 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10900F CPU, 32GB of HyperX Fury DDR4-2933MHz RAM, 1TB M2 PCIe NVMe SSD and 1TB HDD, liquid cooling, and 1,000W PSU. If it’s 4K and 8K you want to game at, this is the config for you.

This isn’t a huge sale, but it’s a solid option for anyone who needs to do a full upgrade for the latest generation of NVIDIA RTX GPUs. Every little bit of savings helps, and with this sale you can claim an RTX 30-series GPU and a ton of other robust hardware starting at $2,196.
