MyFitnessPal app is now available on Galaxy Watches

Ever since Google and Samsung joined hands to create Wear OS 3, the platform has seen a lot of improvement in terms of third-party app support. After PocketCasts and WhatsApp, a popular health and fitness tracking brand, MyFitnessPal, is launching its app for Wear OS smartwatches.

As people are getting more focused on diet and fitness, more options for tracking those things have been emerging. However, MyFitnessPal is the world’s most popular app for tracking calorie intake and logging food, and it is now available for all modern Wear OS-based smartwatches (Wear OS 3 or newer version), including the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 6. You can download it via the Google Play Store on your paired Android smartphone or directly on the smartwatch.

You can log your meals through the app on your Galaxy Watch without needing to use your phone. You can also view calorie and nutrient information about a particular food item or meal. You can also add calories directly and track water intake throughout the day. The Wear OS app for MyFitnessPal also comes with three Tiles—Calories, Nutrients, and Nutrition—that offer quick access to some of the most-used functions of the app.
