Microsoft rolling out first firmware update for Surface Go 3

Microsoft launched the Surface Go 3 around six months ago, but the device only received its first firmware update this week. On April 25, 2022, Microsoft released an update for Surface Go 3 devices running the Windows 10 October 2020 Update (version 20H2) or greater.

While the update is the Surface Go 3’s first since its launch, it doesn’t include any notable improvements, at least based on its release notes.

The Surface Go 3 is one of the best Windows tablets, especially if you’re looking for a smaller device. Since its initial launch, Microsoft released a more affordable LTE version of the device ($500).

You can download the update through the Windows Settings app or Microsoft’s website.
