Lenovo announces new all-in-one and collection of monitors ahead of CES

Lenovo announced several new monitors and the ThinkCentre M90a AOI PC ahead of CES 2020. The monitors range from relatively budget-friendly displays to high-end displays for professional creators. Lenovo states that it designed the ThinkCentre M90a AOI for premium users. The ThinkCentre M90a AIO is expected in June 2020 and starts at $1,099. The ThinkVision T34w-20 ($799) and ThinkVision P27h-20 ($499) monitors are expected in March 2020, and the ThinkVision T24v-20 ($264) monitor is expected in April 2020.

The ThinkCentre M90a AIO has a 23.8-inch FHD display. The all-in-one includes several security features, including an option for PrivacyGuard, which makes it hard for people to see the screen when looking over your shoulder. PrivacyGuard works with PrivacyAlert, which can detect when a person is trying to peek at your display. The all-in-one’s webcam has a ThinkShutter, which ensures that people can only see you when you want them to. That same webcam also works with Windows Hello.

The ThinkCentre M90a AIO runs on up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro processor. It’s available with up to AMD Radeon 625 2GB gDDR5 graphics and up to 32GB DDR4 memory. The all-in-one has several storage options, including up to 2TB HDD storage and up to 1TB M.2 OPAL SSD.

The ThinkVision Creator Extreme is the highest end monitor of the newly announced displays. It features a 27-inch HDR 1000 compatible display that has 1152 mini-LED zones and 10,368 LEDs for what Lenovo refers to as “dynamic local dimming.” Lenovo designed the monitor for professional creators, and its specs match that intention. It has color accuracy of 99 percent DCI-P3, 100 percent sRGB, and 100 percent BT .709 color gamut. It supports HDMI 2.0, DPU1.4, and USB 3.1 Type C Gen 2 to allow creators to connect the monitor to a wide range of devices. The Type C port also has up to 90W power delivery.

The ThinkVision T34w-20 has a 34-inch 1500R curved display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It has a 3440×1440 resolution and USB-C port that supports Smart Power, delivers 75W of power, and can deliver data and video.

The ThinkVision P27h-20 has extremely thin bezels, a QHD display, and integrated speakers. It works with a single USB-C setup that offers up to 90W power delivery, ethernet passthrough, and supports audio, video, and data.

The ThinkVision T24-20 is the most budget-friendly option of the new lineup at $264. It features an FHD display and an IR camera that works with Windows Hello. The monitor has a 23.8-inch display, dual-microphones, and integrated stereo speakers.

The new ThinkCentre M90a AIO and the expanded range of monitors from Lenovo provide several options for workers across various industries.
