Here’s how to complete the ‘Incey Wincey Spyder’ Treasure Hunt in FH5

Forza Horizon 5 is a critically acclaimed open-world racing game, and developer Playground Games and publisher Xbox Game Studios are committed to perpetually adding fresh content to the game through the Festival Playlist. Every week, the playlist introduces players with new events, challenges to complete, and rewards to earn. Occasionally, however, challenges can ramp up the difficulty or be unclear in their descriptions and instructions.

From tricky Daily Challenges to enigmatic Treasure Hunts, this is everything you need to know to complete those Forza Horizon 5 challenges and obtain every exclusive reward in one of the best racing games on Xbox.

How can I complete the Festival Playlist challenges in Forza Horizon 5?

The Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist features a rotating selection of possible challenges and events, most of which are fairly straightforward. Every so often, however, FH5’s Festival Playlist will present players with a particularly difficult challenge, either through design, confusing or unclear instructions, or even in-game bugs that prevent the challenge from being completed like normal.

Autumn, Series 5 — “Incey Wincey Spyder” Treasure Hunt

Another Festival Playlist has arrived, and with it a new Treasure Hunt has broken the surface. The cleverly named “Incey Wincey Spyder” Treasure Hunt Challenge is here for Autumn, Series 5 of the Festival Playlist. Here’s what you need to know.

Clue: See the stars by taking your spyder for a high jump, but beware of the river, we don’t want to wash the spyder out! Reward: Rewards 3 Playlist Points and 50,000 Credits

The first step for completing the Incey Wincey Spyder Treasure Hunt is to step behind the wheel of the 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder, a sleek high-performance vehicle. If you don’t already own this car (it has been the reward for previous Festival Playlist challenges and can be earned through Wheelspins), it can be purchased from the Autoshow for a hefty 850,000 Credits.

Once you’re driving your 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder, find the Salto de Río Danger Sign PR Stunt, a seasonal addition that arrived with the beginning of Series 5. This epic jump has you race down a dirt road and attempt to cross the river, which is precisely the goal to complete the Incey Wincey Spyder Treasure Hunt Challenge.

It should be relatively easy to earn 3 Stars at the Salto de Río Danger Sign in the 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder, and to scale the river and land safely on the other side. Once you’ve accomplished this, the Incey Wincey Spyder Treasure Chest search area will appear on the map.

The Incey Wincey Spyder Treasure Chest is located farther downriver from where you completed the clue. You can see its exact position in the images above if you’d like to skip the search. This Treasure Chest is easy to smash, as it sits patiently at the end of a pier extending into the river. Once you smash the Treasure Chest, you’ll complete the Incey Wincey Spyder Treasure Hunt and walk away with 50,000 Credits and a handful of Playlist Points.

Autumn, Series 5 — “Tank you!” Collectibles Challenge

Alongside a new Treasure Hunt, the Autumn Season of Series 5 also includes a Collectibles Challenge for players to smash through. “Tank you!” tasks players with smashing 10 piñatas, all of which are lovingly named Tank, via either the Horizon Arcade Wreckage Theme Events or EventLab. Completing this challenge is easy, as long as you know where to look.

Players are welcome to look for a Horizon Arcade Wreckage Theme Event with which to complete this challenge, but this is random and could consume hours of your time for no real reason. By far the easiest way to complete the Tank you! Collectibles Challenge is to head to the EventLab and search for “Tank you!” Already, several talented creators have designed Event Blueprints that give you exactly what you need to complete this challenge.

Select any of the created events, choose your favorite smashing car, and drive in a straight line! Once you’ve smashed 10 Tanks, you’ll earn yourself another 3 Playlist Points and a new Forza LINK message.
