We reported a few weeks ago that Samsung will be launching new wireless earbuds with the Galaxy S21. Subsequent reports confirmed that they will be called the Galaxy Buds Pro. A new leak today has now given us a first look at these new wireless earbuds from Samsung.

Our information suggests that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Buds Pro alongside the Galaxy S21 series. We have previously confirmed that the Galaxy S21 announcement is going to take place in early January. Samsung is yet to confirm an official date.

This is what the Galaxy Buds Pro look like

This Galaxy Buds Pro leak comes courtesy of @evleaks who has a proven track record. As previously reported, the Galaxy Buds Pro look more like the Galaxy Buds/Buds+ than the Galaxy Buds Live. They have the same in-ear design as Samsung’s first two wireless earbuds.

The charging case has been revealed in today’s leak as well. Its shape is much more similar to the Galaxy Buds Live case. We understand that there’s a 472mAh battery in the case. As far as the improvements are concerned, the Ambient mode will be better than it has ever been. Improvements will also be made to provide a richer listening experience.

We also hear from sources about the possibility of the Galaxy Buds Pro supporting Active Noise Cancellation. This feature has only been available on the Galaxy Buds Live so far. The in-ear design of the Galaxy Buds Pro should allow for a better noise cancellation experience.

Pricing information for the Galaxy Buds Pro isn’t available at this point. We can expect to find that out in the coming weeks. There’s a good chance that Samsung will be offering the Galaxy Buds Pro as a pre-order incentive for the Galaxy S21 handsets.
