Samsung released the July 2023 Android security update for the Galaxy S22 series in Europe earlier this week, and its rollout has now expanded to the US for the carrier-locked and unlocked units of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The unlocked models are receiving the update with firmware version S90xUSQS3CWF3, while the update for the carrier-locked versions has firmware S90xU1UES3CWF3.

The July 2023 security update fixes 90 security issues found in Galaxy phones and tablets, and if you haven’t received it yet on your Galaxy S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra, you can check for it manually by heading to the phone’s Settings > Software update menu.
