Top 10 trending phones of week 8
Our trending chart is still dominated by the major announcements from last week, when Samsung and Xiaomi introduced their new flagships. However, Sony’s newly unveiled L4 made a great start and shot up right into the second place.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra retains is the lead, while in third we have the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. Xiaomi’s new phones have basically switched places with the vanilla 10 now down in seventh. Last week it was second with the 10 Pro ninth.
Samsung’s Galaxy A51 has taken advantage of the hype around the new phones dying down a bit to gain a spot and so did the Redmi Note 8 Pro and the Galaxy A71.
The Redmi Note 8 is eight as the remaining members of the Galaxy S20 family round up the top 10.
This means that the Poco X2 is the only phone to drop out this week. We’ll likely see a lot more movement next week – even if MWC got cancelled some makers including Sony, Huawei and Realme will have unveiled their new flagships by the time the next edition of the chart comes.
