Motorola Edge 20 Pro India launch teased

Motorola launched the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion in India last month, with the latter being an Edge 20 Lite powered by the Dimensity 800U SoC instead of Dimensity 720. Now the company has started teasing the launch of Edge 20 Pro in India, which was announced in July alongside the vanilla Edge 20 and Lite models.

While the poster shared by Motorola doesn’t explicitly mention the Edge 20 Pro, the use of the word “Pro” and the camera island matching the Edge 20 Pro’s is a clear indicator the Lenovo-owned brand is hinting at the Edge 20 Pro, despite the company trying to hide the “108MP” text on the right side of the cameras to not make it obvious.

Motorola hasn’t revealed the Edge 20 Pro’s India launch date yet, but we expect it to arrive in India on October 1, which is when the company’s also expected to launch the Moto Tab 8 in the country and unveil a new smart TV.

The Edge 20 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, runs Android 11, and comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. Although it’s unclear what configuration(s) the smartphone will be sold in India.
