Motorola Defy Satellite Link is finally available in the US, works with any iPhone or Android

The Motorola Defy Satellite Link is a pretty unique accessory, which was announced back in February and is now finally available to purchase in the US.

It connects to your iPhone or Android device via Bluetooth and gives it satellite connectivity. Satellite connectivity on phones has of course become a hot topic lately thanks to Apple debuting its Emergency SOS via Satellite service with the iPhone 14 family last year.

But the Motorola Defy Satellite Link doesn’t care what phone you have. It’s also not only for emergencies – there are multiple plans to choose from even, and it comes bundled with the Essentials messaging plan for one year – this includes 30 two-way messages sent via satellite each month. Other plans go up to 400 messages per month.

The 600 mAh battery provides up to four full days of standby.

The Motorola Defy Satellite link can be yours for $149.99 from B&H, and should reach Amazon very soon as well.
