How to create your own kingdom
Creating your own kingdom is actually rather straioghtforward. It just takes some time to get enough renown to level up your clan to 3. A simple, yet effective way to go about creating your own kingdom is to first join one as a mercenary. This allows you to earn coin, gather loot, get better at the game, and tally up some renown.
- Complete the Neretze’s Folly quest.
- Complete the Dragon Banner questline thereafter.

Once you have the three Dragon Banner pieces, talk to Arzagos or Istiana.

Istiana wants to support the empire model, allowing you to swear allegiences to or create an imperial kingdom. Arzagos desires to break it all up, tasking you with supporting or create a non-imperial kingdom. Going with Arzagos will allow you to support the following kingdoms:
- Northern Empire.
- Southern Empire.
- Western Empire.
For Arzagos, you’ll have the following options:
- Aserai.
- Battania.
- Khuzait.
- Sturgia.
- Vlandia.
To create your own kingdom, you’ll need to:
- Level up your clan to 3.
- Gather at least 100 troops.
- Acquire your own settlement.
Congratulations! You just completed the main storyline of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, but the game isn’t over. You’ve create your own kingdom and now it’s time to deal with the other rulers. You’ll need to engage in diplomacy, warfare and espionage to keep your borders (and the good citizens within) safe.
