The partnership between Halo Infinite and Monster Energy has been officially announced by Michael Wolf, the marketing lead for Halo Infinite. By buying special Halo Infinite-themed Monster Energy drinks available in select stores around the United States, Canada, Mexico, and EMEA, players can earn various prizes both in-game and out. The start and end times of the promotion vary by region, but generally, it begins on September 1, 2020 and ends on December 31, 2020.
When you buy cans of Halo Infinite Monster Energy, you’ll need to save your receipt and then head to Monster’s website and follow the instructions there. When you do so, you’ll get points that you can redeem for codes that unlock special items in Halo Infinite, which you need to redeem here. These include weapon skins and player emblems. Additionally, you’ll also be entered to win a special trip to Paris to experience a Zero Gravity Flight experience, and you’ll also have a shot at winning an Xbox Series X, too.
Each can you buy will also allow you to enjoy 30 minutes of Double XP within Halo Infinite, with a maximum of 60 hours of Double XP possible per player account. Additionally, each can will also include a Snapcode that will unlock Halo Infinite-themed Snapchat filters. For more details on the promotion, make sure to check out the full announcement.
Halo Infinite is expected to launch sometime in 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PCs. It was originally slated for a Holiday 2020 release, but it was ultimately delayed, which was a decision that we thought was the right move. If you want to play some Halo right now, though, we highly recommend Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
