Galaxy Z Flip 5G starts getting February 2022 security update in Asia, Europe

Samsung had released the February 2022 security update to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in the US last week. Now, the international version of the foldable smartphone has started getting this month’s security patch via a new software update in some markets.

The latest software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G comes with firmware version F707BXXU6FVA9. It is available in Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Singapore, Slovakia, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and the UK.

According to Samsung’s documentation, its February 2022 security update fixes more than 60 privacy and security vulnerabilities in Galaxy devices. The new Galaxy Z Flip 5G update could also fix general bugs and improve device stability.

If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 5G user in any of the regions mentioned above, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware from our firmware section and flash it manually.
