Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G is the first device to get the June 2022 security update

Samsung usually releases a new security update to its Galaxy smartphones and tablets a week before the start of a new month. However, the company has outdone itself this time and released the June 2022 security update eleven days earlier.

On Friday, the South Korean firm released the June 2022 security update to the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G. The new update comes with firmware version T976BXXU2CVE5, and it has been released in various European countries, including the ones listed below. The update could reach other markets soon.

If you are a Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G user in any of the countries listed above, you can check for the new update and install it by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy Tab S7+ in mid-2020 with Android 10. The tablet received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in early 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update in early 2022.
