Galaxy S20 FE 5G gets the March 2022 security update in the US

Samsung has released a new update to the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in the US. If you were hoping that it would bring One UI 4.1 to the smartphone, you would be disappointed. It’s just a new security patch, and it is rolling out to the carrier-unlocked model of the smartphone.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G comes with firmware version G781U1UEU7EVB3. It brings the March 2022 security patch to the smartphone to fix over 50 security vulnerabilities. The official changelog also mentions bug fixes, improved device stability, and performance improvements.

The update is rolling out on various carrier networks, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Comcast, C-Spire, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. The remaining carriers could get the update within the next few days.

If you are a Galaxy S20 FE 5G user in the US, you can now check for the new security update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
