Galaxy Book 2 Go, Book 2 Go 5G specifications and design leak

The Galaxy Book Go and the Galaxy Book Go 5G were Samsung’s first Windows laptops powered by ARM processors. Now, the company is working on their successors: Galaxy Book 2 Go and Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G. Both laptops have been leaked a couple of times in the past, revealing some of their specifications. Today, the two upcoming laptops have leaked once again, through FCC this time, revealing their design and connectivity features.

According to a previous leak, the Galaxy Book 2 Go has model number NP340XNA, while the Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G has model number NP345XNA. They were the two models spotted on FCC today. The documents reveal that the Galaxy Book 2 Go and the Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G have support for 45W charging. That’s a significant upgrade over the 25W charging support offered by last year’s models.

Another vital piece of information these documents reveal is that both the upcoming models will have a 14-inch screen, similar to the existing Galaxy Book Go devices. However, Samsung could very likely offer an upgraded display panel. The FCC documents of these laptops also contain their design sketches, and according to them, the Galaxy Book 2 Go and Book 2 Go 5G will have bottom-mounted speakers. Silver will be one of the colour options on offer. Both devices will measure 224 x 15 x 324mm.

The 5G model will come with 13 Sub-6GHz 5G bands: N1, N3, N5, N7, N8, N20, N28, N38, N40, N41, N66, N77, and N78. Both models will feature Wi-Fi 6 (Wi-Fi ax). You can expect both Galaxy Book 2 Go models to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7C+ Gen 3 processor. Considering that the laptops have been certified by FCC, their launch seems imminent.

It is possible that Samsung could launch the Galaxy Book 2 Go and Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G alongside the Galaxy S23 series.
