Galaxy A14 features a MediaTek SoC and Android 13, reveals benchmark
It looks like the unannounced Galaxy A14 is popping up online at a higher intensity, which could mean its market release might be right around the corner. We revealed more information regarding the Galaxy A14 camera setup and battery specifications yesterday. Now, an online benchmark has uncovered more about this device, including its chipset, memory specifications, and Android OS version.
The Galaxy A14 has popped up on Geekbench (version 4.4.0), carrying model number SM-A145P. The benchmarking tool reveals that the Galaxy A14 features the MediaTek MT6769V chipset, which has a dual-core Cortex-A75 cluster clocked at 2.0GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 cluster operating at 1.80GHz. The CPU should be accompanied by a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics chip.

Other specifications revealed by the benchmark include 4GB of RAM (3.66GB available; the rest is reserved by the system) and Android 13. The OS will likely be accompanied by One UI Core 5.0. The Galaxy A14 will be a budget phone, and we don’t expect it to run the full-fledged One UI 5.0 version. Some One UI 5.0 software features will be missing.
According to previous leaks and reports, the Galaxy A14 should be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and sport a 50MP primary camera. Evidence shows that the upcoming budget model from Samsung has an upgraded 13MP selfie camera, and previous leaks hint at a 6.8-inch LCD with a resolution of 2408 x 1080.
