Following the appearance of a product listing for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – Remastered on Amazon Italy a while back, new rumors suggest that the unconfirmed title won’t include a multiplayer mode.
Charlie Intel also reported that Raven Software, which worked on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, isn’t developing Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. Rather, there’s speculation that Beenox, which assisted Raven Software in developing Modern Warfare Remastered and is currently hiring for positions related to Call of Duty projects, could be behind Modern Warfare 2 Remastered.
As with all rumors of this nature, is best to take this with the requisite grain of salt. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered hasn’t been announced, but it appears Activision is cooking something up. We’ll keep you posted as soon an official announcement is made.
