Audioscenic partners with Acer to deliver a new immersive audio experience

Audioscenic once again delivered big at CES. Following up on their integration in the best of CES 2023 award winner the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro, this year Audioscenic partnered with Acer on an immersive audio-visual monitor.
The Acer SpatialLabs View Pro 27 monitor uses eye-tracking technology for an immersive visual 3D effect. Audioscenic combined its proprietary tech with this eye-tracking hardware to create an immersive audio effect.
Using what it calls Amphi AI Beamforming technology, Audioscenic projects sound directly to where it is tracking your head. As you move your head around, sounds stay localized in virtual space. With this technology, you get the sensation of wearing headphones from a simple stereo speaker setup directly in front of you.
The most interesting part of this announcement from Audioscenic is the potential for future application of Amphi AI Beamforming in a wide variety of devices. The technology can be implemented in any device with a pair of speakers and a camera.

An immersive audio-visual experience from Acer and Audioscenic.
At CES, Audioscenic allowed us to demo the technology on several regular consumer laptops. In a Zoom call, it sounded as though different voices were coming from different locations around my head, helping to distinguish words when multiple people were speaking. In another demo, I was able to hear the location of footsteps behind me in a first-person shooter game, all from the simple stereo laptop speakers in front of me.
As the technology continues to develop, this could eliminate the need for headphones in a variety of settings, helping you stay connected to and aware of the real world.
