2nd One UI 6.0 beta has fixed the lock screen clock issue
As you probably heard by now, Samsung is rolling out the 2nd One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy S23 series. There were rumors of a delay, but Samsung overcame, and now, the 2nd beta update is available in Germany, South Korea, and the USA. Not to mention, it’s rolling out in more countries for the first time, including India.
The official changelog mentions a handful of fixes, but it seems incomplete. We can confirm that at least one issue that got fixed by the 2nd One UI 6.0 beta wasn’t listed in the changelog, and here it is:
Galaxy S23 One UI 6.0 beta users can now save their lock screen clock settings.

2nd One UI 6.0 beta might have more hidden fixes and features
If you used the 1st One UI 6.0 beta on the Galaxy S23, you may have noticed a bug that prevented you from changing the position of the lock screen clock. Or rather, changes done to the clock’s position were not saved. If so, you weren’t alone. The bug was present in the 1st beta release for many users.
Thankfully, One UI 6.0 beta 2 users can now change the location of the lock screen clock and save it. The issue appears to have been addressed.
It is highly likely that other problems present in the 1st One UI 6.0 beta have been fixed without Samsung mentioning them in the changelog. As such, we’ll keep testing the new beta build on the Galaxy S23 series and let you know if we uncover more.
As for the changes Samsung did acknowledge, the 2nd One UI 6.0 beta fixes issues regarding keyboards, intermittent loading and playing errors in Netflix, Home app crashes, Multi-Window stability problems in Secure Folder and when using Music Share, the S Pen button, Repair Mode, Galaxy Buds calling, random resets, system stability, and more.
