ZTE Axon 30 Ultra gets 3C certification with 66W charger

ZTE will be announcing its Axon 30 series later this week. The company has wasted no time, teasing some of the phone’s features and specifications ahead of the official unveiling. ZTE’s Axon 30 flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 888, it will have three 64MP cameras and a 120Hz display. Other leaks suggest this screen will measure 6.9-inches and the phone may cost upwards of $1,200.

The Chinese 3C has most recently certified ZTE’s new Axon 30 Ultra (A2022P) and it reveals that the top-tier Axon 30 smartphone will come with a 66W fast charger with model number A1160A-C. The charger supports 66W charging in both 20V@3.25A and 11V@6A. It will also support 15W, 18W, 36W, 45W, and 55W modes varying from 5V to 20V.

ZTE has already teased the new Axon phone’s front design which revealed dual curved edges and a centered hole-punch cameras. The quad camera setup will consist of three 64MP cameras: main camera, ultra-wide, and portrait. The fourth camera is an 8MP shooter behind a periscope zoom camera with 5X optical zoom.

Aside from having the top-performing chipset on board, the ZTE Axon 30 flagship will use UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM, likely with up to 12GB of RAM. The Axon 30 series will be fully unveiled on April 15.
