Your next Alienware PC or monitor will pack NVIDIA’s latest tech inside

Spread the love

Now that NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 30 series is here, PC and peripheral makers are on board announcing support for the new tech. Out of the gate, we saw Acer announce support on its Orion gaming PCs, and now Dell is hopping on board across its Alienware lineup.

Dell says that its Alienware PCs will soon offer configurations with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 series. Presumably, that means we’re going to see an upgrade to the flagship Aurora R11 desktop in the coming weeks or months. There’s no word on which cards will be available, but it’s likely we’ll see the RTX 3070, 3080, and maybe even the monstrous RTX 3090 as options.

Beyond its desktop lineup, however, Dell is also giving a boost to one of its monitors. Part of NVIDIA’s RTX 30 series rollout was the announcement of the new Reflex Latency Analyzer, which can give you a detailed breakdown of latency between components of your PC setup. It requires a special chip to work, though.

That hardware will be included in an update to the Alienware 25 monitor. The monitor is also getting equipped with a 360Hz refresh rate, which is something we’ve seen become more common across gaming monitors.

There’s no word on pricing or a release date for any of these upgrades yet. However, we should learn more soon.
