You can now pick up and play Scarlet Nexus on Xbox and PC
Today is a good day for JRPG fans, especially if you play on Xbox. Scarlet Nexus officially releases today, and it adds to the quickly growing list of Japanese games arriving on Microsoft’s gaming platform. Scarlet Nexus already had (and still does have) a free demo for anyone who wants to try the game out first, but now it’s fully available with two editions from which to choose. You can check out the launch trailer for Scarlet Nexus below.
For years, Xbox players have had to do without some of the best games from Japanese developers, but the tides have begun to turn in recent years. Scarlet Nexus is well worth your consideration, especially if you’re already a fan of anime. In our Scarlet Nexus review, our own Zackery Cuevas said that Scarlet Nexus “excels at world-building and features great music and rock-solid performance on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.” While it’s far from a perfect game, it’s an enjoyable experience for JRPG and anime fans alike.
Scarlet Nexus is now available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC through Steam. Scarlet Nexus is a current-gen optimized game, which means it looks and plays better on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. There are two editions to choose from, with the Deluxe Edition including some bonuses like the official soundtrack, artbook, and cosmetic additions. While Scarlet Nexus may not end up as one of the best Xbox RPGs, it’s certainly a fun experience.
