Yakuza: Like a Dragon is officially releasing on November 13
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is an exciting entry in the Yakuza series, not just because of the franchise’s popularity or all the new features and gameplay elements expected in Like a Dragon, but because the game is coming to Xbox, Playstation, Windows, and Steam at launch, with free updates for next-gen consoles as well. Now, we have an exact date, rather than a vague November window. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will come to all current-gen consoles on November 13, and should be available on the Xbox Series X the moment the console launches (sometime in November).

The Playstation 5 version is listed as “coming soon.” This could be because the Playstation 5 version isn’t ready yet or isn’t releasing immediately, but the more likely answer is game developers aren’t allowed to reveal any release information for PS5 games, because Sony hasn’t revealed any information about the PS5’s release.
If you can’t wait until November 13 for the launch of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, there are also several other Yakuza games that have just launched on Xbox for the first time, and are available right now for players to enjoy, so it might be worth going back in time and giving those a look before the new game comes out. Even better, those games are also available through Xbox Game Pass, so you won’t even have to shell out extra to play them.
