Yakuza Kiwami 2 launches early on Xbox Game Pass

Many months ago, Microsoft announced that many Yakuza games were coming to Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One and PC. Beforehand, only Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami were available. However, Yakuza Kiwami 2 just joined the service a day earlier than expected.

Just head over to the Microsoft Store to download the game. If you don’t own Xbox Game Pass, you’ll have to buy it for $20. Unfortuantely, the game isn’t Xbox One X Enhanced.

Kazuma Kiryu thought his Tojo Clan days were behind him. He and the young girl in his care, Haruka Sawamura, have built a peaceful life from the ashes of conflict. All it took was a single gunshot to shatter that peace. Yukio Terada, the Fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, has been assassinated. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind.

Are you a fan of the Yakuza games? Are you going to play them through Xbox Game Pass? Let us know. The next major release appears to be “Yakuza: Like a Dragon” this November.
