XPS 15, Latitude leaked images confirm suspected design changes

Leaked images from the Korea Energy Agency Efficiency Standardization Certification Center website show off what appears to be the upcoming Dell XPS 15 (via Laptop). The images show off a refreshed design that’s very similar to the latest Dell XPS 13. The image shows off a display with micro bezels, including a small bottom bezel that allows the display to continue to just above the keyboard.

A few weeks ago, Dell’s website accidentally showed several laptops, including what appears to be a Dell XPS 15, Dell XPS 17, and a laptop from Dell’s Precision line. The new image from the Korea Energy Agency Efficiency Standardization Certification Center website confirms some of the design changes suspected due to earlier leaks.

The most noticeable visual change is the reduction of the bottom bezel on the XPS 15. On its smaller sibling, the XPS 13, the smaller bottom bezel allowed the laptop to have a taller 16:10 aspect ratio rather than the previous generation’s 16:9 aspect ratio. The leaked image also shows a larger trackpad than previous XPS 15 models. For comparison, you can check out the leaked image and an image of the most recent XPS 15 below.

It’s hard to make out in the image, but there appears to be a camera above the display, which would make sense since Dell has a camera that supports Windows Hello above the XPS 13’s display. There also seem to be speakers on each side of the keyboard, though it’s difficult to tell for certain from the image.

In addition to the leaks of the upcoming XPS 15, Laptop reports on several image leaks from Dell’s Latitude line. A collection of images from Reddit user stblr shows off the Latitude 7310, Latitude 7310 2-in-1, Latitude 7410, Latitude 7410 2-in-1, Latitude 5310, Latitude 5310 2-in-1, Latitude 5410 and Latitude 5510. Many of the Latitude laptop shown off in the images feature relatively thin bezels and wider camera modules.
