Microsoft has taken the wraps off the Xbox Games with Gold for Aug. 2021, and the selection may actually be pretty solid for players, especially action-RPG fans. The four free games offered to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers every month are often met with disappointment due to a dwindling overall quality, often accused of being driven by a new focus on the superior value service: Xbox Game Pass.
The Xbox Games with Gold for Aug. 2021 are reportedly worth a combined $130 in value and 3,200 in Gamerscore. Players can redeem Lost Planet 3 from Aug. 1 to Aug. 15, Darksiders III from Aug. 1 to Aug. 31, Garou: Mark of the Wolves from Aug. 16 to Aug. 31, and Yooka-Laylee from Aug. 16 to Sept. 15.
