Xbox Cloud Gaming now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles
Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available on consoles, Microsoft shared via Xbox Wire on Wednesday. Any players with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or Xbox One can now start streaming Cloud games available in the library.
Xbox Cloud Gaming allows players to try a game without installing it, or streaming a game in order to save SSD space for current-generation titles. Xbox Cloud Gaming also allows Xbox One owners to play current-generation games, with Microsoft Flight Simulator being added to the service in early 2022.
While the Xbox first-party lineup in 2021 consisted mainly of cross-generation titles, this period is ending, with Arkane Austin’s vampire-hunting title Redfall and Bethesda Game Studios’ science-fiction role-playing game Starfield are slated to arrive sometime in Summer 2022 and on Nov. 11, 2022 respectively. Both titles are exclusive to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, meaning an Xbox One owner that doesn’t want to or can’t upgrade can use Xbox Cloud Gaming to play them.

Bobby Kotick must resign
Activision Blizzard’s CEO was the subject of a massive WSJ investigation today, alleging that he protected a studio head who had been recommended for firing for sexual harassment, while also throwing colleagues under the bus to protect his own reputation. At this point, it’s hard to see how the company can move forward with Kotick at the helm.
