Windows Central readers most excited for Halo Infinite at E3 2021
E3 2021 is almost here, and in anticipation of all the bombshell news Microsoft is likely to drop, we made a poll asking the question, “which Xbox Game Studios game do you want to see most at E3 2021?” The results are now in, and surprise surprise, Halo Infinite (172 votes) has won with 23.69% of the votes as of the time of this writing.
The mysterious Bethesda project Starfield (147) came in at 20.25% of the votes, nabbing it second place in the poll. Forza Horizon 5 (132) managed third place with 18.18%. Fourth place went to Fable (104), fifth went to Hellblade II (73), sixth to Perfect Dark (40), seventh to Age of Empires IV (39), and eighth to Everwild (19). Poor Everwild.
What this tells us is that the Halo brand still holds weight, no matter the damage Halo 4 and 5 have done to the franchise in some players’ eyes, or the disastrous Halo: The Master Chief Collection launch, or the very divisive reveal of Halo Infinite. Love him or hate him, Master Chief and his cool-looking space marine/BMX helmet still draw lots of attention.
Fingers crossed Halo Infinite delivers at E3! And the same goes for all the other best-Xbox-game-hopefuls that’ll be cropping up at the conference. In an ideal world, Xbox will deliver big and gives everyone something to get hyped for.
