Windows 10 Game Bar gets achievement overlay and frame rate counter

Ever since Microsoft debuted the Game Bar for Windows 10, gamers have been asking for a way to track your Xbox Achievements and view the frame rate of the game you’re playing. While these features have been hinted at in the past, it looks like they’re finally here on a Friday night. Xbox’s Mike Ybarra just announced on Twitter that you can now see an overlay of your achievements and measure the frame rate.

In order to gain these new features, you’ll have to update the Game Bar through the Microsoft Store on Windows 10. It’s a relatively small download so it’ll go by fast. We’ve been using it on a few games and it works rather well. The achievement overlay is also quite useful if you’re an achievement hunter.
