WhatsApp now lets you send 100 images and videos at once using your Galaxy phone

WhatsApp is continuously expanding its feature list. The messaging app’s new update has the same aim and brings a plethora of useful features. According to the latest reports, WhatsApp users will now be able to add captions when sharing a document, which could be pretty advantageous for those who share a lot of files. Also, you can now send large files as big as 2GB.

WhatsApp is also allowing users to set longer group names (up to 100 characters) and add longer group descriptions. The changelog also mentions the arrival of the ability to create an avatar that can be used as a profile photo or a sticker. Well, this isn’t a new feature, as it has already been released to the public with the WhatsApp update (version 2.22.24.73).

WhatsApp’s Kept Messages feature still isn’t available with the new update

Furthermore, WhatsApp lets you send several photos and videos at once, with the limit expanding to 100 media files. Previously, this was restricted to only 30 media files at a time. The feature was already in the oven in the WhatsApp beta channel and has been quickly rolled out via the stable channel for users. The ability to send more media files at once proves to be a great feature for people, especially photographers that have to send multiple photos and videos at once.

As noted by WABetaInfo, all these new features are arriving via the WhatsApp app version 2.23.3.77, which has an update date of February 13. You can download the latest update from the Google Play Store. Recently, WhatsApp tested the ability to send high-quality photos and Kept Messages feature, but those features haven’t made it to this stable release.
