What January 11? Samsung is selling Galaxy S21 FE in Russia right now

Samsung’s official release date for the Galaxy S21 FE is January 11. At least, for most of the world, but surprisingly enough, Russia appears to be getting a head start. There’s no pre-order period for the device in Russia because the Galaxy S21 FE is available for purchase at Samsung’s official online store right now.

Unlike other markets, there are no shipping dates specified at checkout in Russia, so, technically, the Galaxy S21 FE should arrive on your doorstep at any moment. Should you choose to buy one, of course.

Samsung does that thing where the phone is already available at a discount, so instead of paying 59,990 / 66,990 rubles for the 128GB / 256GB models, customers can buy the Galaxy S21 FE in Russia for 54,990 / 60,990 rubles ($732 / $812).

The phone might be a bit overpriced, but customers in Russia get another surprise at checkout. They can benefit from an additional 5% discount if they purchase the Galaxy S21 FE using Samsung Pay.

Should you rush to buy the Galaxy S21 FE?

The Galaxy S21 FE is a decent addition to the 2021 flagship lineup, though the phone itself isn’t a flagship. It has the same chipset as the rest of the Galaxy S21 series, except that Europe gets the Snapdragon 888 variant this time around.

In Russia, the Galaxy S21 FE is available in four color options: graphite, lavender, olive, and white. We had a closer look at each one of these color options at CES.
