If you want the version of this game that benefits from your new hardware, you’ll need to pay a bit more for it.

There are three versions of Call of Duty: Vanguard available for preorder: standard, Cross-Gen Bundle and the Ultimate Edition. On Xbox, The standard edition includes the Xbox One version of the game for $60. The Cross-Gen Bundle and Ultimate Edition include the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions. On PlayStation, the standard edition includes the PS4 version, while the Cross-Gen bundle and Ultimate edition include the PS4 and PS5 versions.

Thanks to the ultra-fast SSDs in newer consoles, loading times on the current-gen versions will be much quicker as well.
