Week 7 in review: Huawei P50, Samsung Galaxy A52, A72 rumors

Welcome to another week’s recap. The Huawei P50 series made the news – they’ll be arriving at the end of March and will reportedly include three phones. Like the P40 series, the P50 will feature a vanilla model, a P50 Pro and a P50 Pro+. They’ll run Kirin 9000E (P50) and Kirin 9000 (the two Pro phones) chipsets, but won’t have Google Mobile Services.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 was another hot topic this past week. A detailed leak solidified the specs – 5G model will have a Snapdragon 750G chipset, a 64MP main camera and a 120Hz 6.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED. The Galaxy A52 4G will have the same screen, only at 90Hz refresh rate, and a Snapdragon 720G chipset. Both will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 15W charging and will feature 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, Dual-SIM and IP67 water resistance. The Galaxy A52 4G will be priced at €349 in some European countries, while the A52 5G will cost €429. Both 4G and 5G models are expected to come to India in mid-March.

Speaking of India, the Galaxy F62 became official in the country this week. It packs a mammoth 7,000mAh battery. Other highlights include a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 64MP main camera, Exynos 9825 chipset and a starting price of INR 23,999 (6/128GB).

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series was confirmed to debut on March 4. We’re expecting a 108MP main camera, Snapdragon 750G chipset and a high refresh rate LCD on at least one of the phones.

Finally, the OnePlus 9 Pro leaked in detail this week. It will have an LTPO 1440p+ display with 120 refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8GB or 12GB RAM, 48MP main camera and a 4,500mAh battery with 64W charging.
