Week 42 in review: Pixel 4 and Realme X2 Pro debut
Two major events took place in week 42. Google introduced its latest Pixel phones – the 4 and 4XL, while Realme unveiled its first flagship proper with the X2 Pro. The three phones are shaping to have a significant impact on the industry even if for vastly different reasons.
Xiaomi pubslished the list of phones that will get MIUI 11 along with a roadmap and it also brought the Redmi Note 8 duo to India.
Samsung revealed the main changes coming with the second version of its One UI custom skin as it started beta testing it in some markets.
With the Korean company’s major announcements for the year down we are starting to hear about its 2020 lineup as the first Galaxy S11 details are being revealed. This week we learned that it’s coming with a 20:9 screen.
Back to phones coming in 2019, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus appeared in press images giving us a very good idea of its design and some of its key specs. It got a lot of people very excited, too, so here’s hoping it manages to retain the good impression after its official announcement next week.
