Oppo is starting the global rollout of its Reno8 series today with the launch of the vanilla Reno8 and Reno8 Pro smartphones. We also expect to see the Oppo Pad Air tablet and a new pair of TWS earbuds.

If the Oppo Reno8 is the same as its Chinese namesake, we expect a Dimensity 1300 chipset, 6.43” FullHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
The Reno8 Pro will arrive with a 5nm Dimensity 8100-Max chipset and a 6.7″ display if the rumors are correct that this is the Chinese Reno8 Pro+ renamed for international audiences.
The Pro stands out with its Marisilicon X NPU. It was introduced with the flagship Find X5 series and is an imaging chip with its own ISP that can calculate 18 trillion operations per second. This would allow for 4K Ultra Night Video on the Reno8 Pro, provided Oppo enables it in the first place.
