Wasteland 3 arrives May 2020, new gameplay trailer revealed

At X019, Brian Fargo, Studio Head of inXile Entertainment, came on Inside Xbox to talk about Wasteland 3. He talked about how inXile being acquired by Microsoft has allowed the studio to delay and improve the game, with Xbox Game Studios taking over as the publisher. Brian also confirmed the release date for Wasteland 3, which is now set for May 19, 2020. Preorders are open now and there’s some new gameplay footage, which you can check out below.

Wasteland 3 is taking players into the cold, snowy wastes of Colorado. Like all other Xbox Game Studios titles, Wasteland 3 will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch for players on Xbox One and PC. Despite Xbox Game Studios taking over as publisher, the game is still coming to all originally promised platforms, so players on PlayStation 4, MacOS and Linux will still be able to grab this game when it arrives.
