vivo NEX 3s 5G officially confirmed to pack Snapdragon 865 SoC and triple rear camera
vivo announced the NEX 3 5G last September and the company is now set to unveil an upgraded variant, dubbed NEX 3s 5G, on March 10.
The NEX 3s 5G popped up on Geekbench and Google Play Console, revealing a Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood. And now vivo has officially confirmed that the NEX 3s 5G will indeed have the Snapdragon 865 chipset at the helm.
The company also posted a short video clip on Weibo, showing the back of the NEX 3s 5G, which looks similar to the vanilla NEX 3 5G and has three cameras. It also confirms the Blue color option which will join the Orange shade already confirmed by the Chinese phone maker. You can watch the video below.
vivo hasn’t revealed the full specs of the NEX 3s 5G, but the smartphone appeared on TENAA and the listing suggests the only difference between the NEX 3 5G and the “s” model will be chipset and battery.
We expect vivo to reveal more features of the NEX 3s 5G in the days leading to the official announcement on next Tuesday.
