The 15-inch Alienware m15 R2 is available with up to a 9th Gen Intel Core i9-9980HK processor (CPU), 16GB of dual-channel DDR4-2666MHz RAM, dual 2TB M.2 PCIe solid-state drives (SSD), and a NVIDIA RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics card (GPU) with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. It’s all playable on a 4K OLED display with 1ms response time and 60Hz refresh rate.

Of course, with all this hardware you’ll be paying a premium, which is why we recommend the mid-range model, on sale from $2,530 down to $2,050. It includes a 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H CPU, 16GB of dual-channel RAM, a 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD, and a NVIDIA RTX 2070 GPU with 8GB of VRAM. Instead of 4K, the display is set at 1080p with a 240Hz refresh rate, 7ms response time, and perfect sRGB color.

Alienware m17 R2 — Save up to 17%

Like the m15, the Alienware m17 R2 has a ton of configurations to choose from. If you’re looking to save the most money, we recommend checking out the model with 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H CPU, 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD, and NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU with 6GB of VRAM.

The 17.3-inch display offers more screen real estate, and it comes with an FHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 9ms response time. This is enough performance for a smooth 1080p or 1440p gaming experience with modern AAA games.

Lenovo Legion Y740 15 — $1,400 (Save $600)

The Legion Y740 15 is one of our favorite gaming laptops thanks to quiet, cool performance, and right now you can save about $600 on a powerful configuration. Included is a 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9750H CPU, 16GB of dual-channel RAM, a 1TB hard-disk drive (HDD) coupled with a 256GB M.2 PCIe SSD, and a NVIDIA RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU with 8GB of VRAM.

Lenovo Legion Y740 17 — $1,500 (Save $630)

Dell G3 15 — Save up to 26%

Dell has a bunch of different G3 15 configurations on sale, so you should be able to find something that exactly fits your needs.
