Upcoming iQOO 8 to pack Samsung E5 screen, company confirms
The iQOO 8 series will be launched on August 17, and today vivo’s brand revealed spicy details regarding the screen. The panel, rumored to be 6.78” in diagonal, will be a Samsung E5 LTPO display with translucent material in the area where the front-facing camera will be.
This means we’re not going to see a fully-fledged under-display selfie camera; more likely vivo found a way to make the camera even less visually obtrusive.

The vivo iQOO 8’s panel will have 1440p resolution adding up to a density of 517 PPI. It will also be 10-bit, allowing it to display 1 billion colors.
Since the display is expected to be LTPO it is going to have an adaptive refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz.
